⚖ Legal Terms & Conditions of Enrollment

1. Enrollment & Registration
Enrollment is confirmed only upon payment of the non-refundable (registration fee only) registration fee of P100 and submission of a completed enrollment form. Belvans Institute reserves the right to refuse enrollment at its sole discretion. Enrollment in a specific program does not guarantee placement in a specific class group or schedule.
2. No Refund Policy
All fees paid to Belvans Institute are strictly non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:
Registration fees
Monthly tuition fees, whether paid in full or in instalments
Examination and assessment fees
Materials, printing, and administrative fees
Corporate and HRDC training programme fees
Students who withdraw, defer, or are dismissed from a programme forfeit all fees paid. No credit, transfer, or rollover of fees is permitted unless expressly approved in writing by the Institute Principal.
3. Deferral & Programme Transfer
A student may request a programme deferral with a minimum of 30 days written notice prior to the start of a new semester. Approved deferrals are valid for one intake cycle only. A programme transfer may be considered subject to availability and an administration fee. All deferrals and transfers are at the sole discretion of management.
4. Academic Standards & Attendance
Students are required to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 80% per module. Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in exclusion from assessments. Belvans Institute adheres to the BQA (Botswana Qualifications Authority) standards for all accredited programmes. Academic dishonesty, including plagiarism and cheating, will result in immediate dismissal without refund.
5. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves with respect for fellow students, staff, and Institute property at all times. The Institute reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose conduct is deemed disruptive, offensive, or harmful. Dismissed students are not entitled to any refund.
6. Certification & Assessment
Certificates and diplomas are issued only upon successful completion of all programme requirements, including attendance, assessments, and full payment of all outstanding fees. Belvans Institute is not responsible for delays caused by BQA certification processes. Lost certificates may be replaced for an administrative fee.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, handouts, videos, and learning resources provided by Belvans Institute are the intellectual property of the Institute. Reproduction, distribution, or resale of any materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information collected during enrollment is used solely for educational administration, communication, and statutory reporting purposes. Belvans Institute does not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required by law or by BQA/HRDC reporting obligations. Students consent to the use of their success stories and photos for institutional marketing, unless they opt out in writing.
9. Liability Disclaimer
Belvans Institute is not liable for any loss of employment, business opportunity, or income arising from enrollment, course outcomes, or certification delays. The Institute does not guarantee employment upon graduation. Programme content may change to reflect BQA requirements or industry developments without notice.
10. Force Majeure
Belvans Institute shall not be held liable for any disruption to services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government directives, power outages, public health emergencies, or civil unrest. In such events, the Institute will make reasonable efforts to continue or reschedule programmes.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any disputes arising from enrollment or the provision of services by Belvans Institute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana. Students agree to first seek resolution through the Institute's internal complaints procedure before pursuing legal remedies.
12. Amendments
Belvans Institute reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Amendments will be communicated via notice at the Institute premises and/or the official website. Continued enrollment following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
